Squamish General Hospital provides services to the communities throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. The facility was officially opened December 13, 1987 and is located at the southern end of Squamish (map). The hospital is an acute care facility with 25 acute care beds, an accredited laboratory, a diagnostic imaging service, and ultra sound services. There are also plans to expand to include a permanent mammography department.
